Don Minichino is a lifelong resident of New York's Hudson Valley, and has been in the commercial real estate game in numerous capacities since 2008. Cutting his teeth in marketing, public relations and social media management, Minichino started his career running communications campaigns for several regional economic development and tourism agencies in New York State before becoming an economic developer himself in 2014.
During this time, Minichino built strong relationships with the CRE brokerage community and in late 2019 took the dive into entrepreneurship. After spending the first four years of his brokerage career with a CRE firm in Westchester County, N.Y., he made the move to Keller Wiiliams, where he launched the Commercial Division at Keller Williams Realty Partners and KW Mid-Hudson Market Centers, as well as his very own HVNY Commercial Team. He currently serves as the SCLM Market Vice President for New York State.
Minichino has taken his diverse career background and put it to work in leasing, sales and development primarily in the Hudson Valley. He thrives on servant leadership, providing value on various business and charitable boards and committees with a career focus on Downtown revitalization and industry-specific site selection. In recent years, he assisted the City of Poughkeepsie with its Comprehensive Plan and Business Improvement District, and led NYS Commercial Association of REALTORS Hudson Valley to nearly double its membership, build an annual sponsorship program and enhance its premier annual events. He is also on the board of Hudson Gateway Association of REALTORS and the NYS Association of REALTORS.
When he's not closing deals, Don's running half marathons, checking out the latest eateries, traveling with his wife Lauren (ask about his 3-week honeymoon to Europe!) or enjoying downtime at their village home in Wappingers Falls, N.Y.
