Mark Johnson leverages his deep understanding of supply chain and logistics, gained from his leadership roles in both domestic and global organizations. His experience spans operations, solutions design, and executive leadership across several business sectors, ensuring SCLM’s clients receive optimized and innovative solutions.
John Merrill brings a wealth of knowledge from the commercial real estate and development sector. His track record includes overseeing high-profile capital projects and contributing significantly to business growth, positioning SCLM as a leader in the industry.
Supporting the founders are Doug Collins, Sam Selig, and Robert Sherwood, who, along with Mark and John, oversee the company’s regional and sub-sector teams, as well as the corporate services functions. Together, they ensure seamless operations and the delivery of exceptional service across all client engagements.

With over 30 years of experience, Mark is a seasoned business leader adept at motivating teams, developing innovative products and services, entering new markets, and driving customer growth.
John Merill
Chief Development & Investment Officer & Regional Leader – US Midwest | Co-Founder | Partner
John D Merrill is the Co-Founder | Chief Development & Investment Officer of SCLM Commercial Real Estate & Development Group, a leading national real estate firm focused on the growth of U.S. middle-market companies in supply chain, logistics, and manufacturing. John will also serve as the Regional Leader for the Midwest Region.
Doug Collins, CCIM
Vice President of Corporate Strategies & Regional Leader – US West
Doug is the Vice President of Corporate Strategies for SCLM and Regional Leader for the Western United States. Doug focuses on key industry sectors such as Aerospace, Education, 3PL, Trucking, Utilities, and Entertainment. Doug is an accomplished commercial real estate professional with extensive experience in acquisitions and dispositions for retail, industrial, multifamily, and land transactions.
Sam Selig, CCIM
Vice President of Commercial Services & Regional Leader – US Southeast
As the Vice President of Commercial Services and Regional Leader for the Southeastern United States, Sam is responsible for overseeing all market activity in the region, including leasing, sales, valuation, and client procurement. Sam’s strategic focus includes Utilities, Construction, Building Materials, Trucking, and Entertainment industry sectors.
Robert Sherwood, CCIM
Vice President of Corporate Services & Regional Leader US Northeast
Robert is the Vice President of Corporate Strategies for SCLM and Regional Leader for the Northeastern United States. Robert focuses on key industry sectors such as Automotive, Industrial (Tools, Equipment, Machinery, HVAC), Technology, Rail & Railroads, Aerospace, Medical (Supplies, Equipment, Devices), and Hospital/Healthcare Systems.
